Rep Power: 0 | hello all well lets see....... here is where i am at the moment..... i have just finished my floor plan.. i have all my demographics for my area ...i have a location picked out.... i worked out a business plan....... i have shopped everything tan in my town and on the net to compare and just to see what is available where ......i have figured my name out my theme even started to buy a thing or two for this dream salon. but the question i have is i need to start lease negotiation but when is too soon i dont want to actually open until a month maybe a little more before the busy season maybe around december or january to give me enough time to open and get the idea of how things are going before i have a lot of customers so how long does the whole process usually take from lease negotiation to clean up and builout getting beds in and set up everything decorated and customer ready how long should all of this take in order to be open in one of those months ???? i know each situation is unique and everyone has a different answer so all is welcome !! to me it is like the first time i had to cook thanksgiving dinner for mine and my husbands family the nerves of having everything hot and on the talble at the same time and on time and tasting good is always a plus ... i know the stress is normal i just dont know the normal time period this is supposed to happen in and when i should take my next step into the dreams salon. thanks for any help at all it is definateley ALL appreciated....robyn _________________ PLAN FOR THE WORST HOPE FOR THE BEST!!!! Rep Power: 0 | We started lease negotiations in March coupled with financing and buildout plans. Finishing up buildout now and planning on opening in a week or so. If your financing is in place you probably have plenty of time. Otherwise, I would start working the lease, financing and construction plans at the same time. Hopefully they will all come together close to the same time. |
