What to do on Slow Days - tanTALK

What do you do when the days are so slow? Right now our mornings are slow so I am trying to make myself take apart beds and clean them. So far, I haven't convinced myself to do one today. How about you? what do you do?

usually clean the walls (or touch up paint), clean beds, clean plants, clean surf boards, clean, clean, clean. Look at all tanning sites for ideas. Recently been working on new business plan and calling town for permits and all the bull***** that goes with opening a store. So I usually don't do much.

I do the clean thing also...I clean all the time..but it seems like it never ends...I always can clean something! I also search around on the internet for new ideas...talk to you guys , watch TV, think of new specials, advertising ideas, etc... the list is endless....although there are those time where the counter looks like it would make a real nice pillow..sshhhhh dont tell but one time I was so exhausted that I fell right asleep at the counter..how embarrasing...luckily no one came in!!

Get your ducks in a row cause season is just around the corner. Then we will say, "What happen? I didn't get all my stuff done."

I am bad to put things off til the last min.

If it weren't for the last minute I wouldn't get anything done...then I run around like a wild woman.

Being the first of the month I am posting monthly special,printing out work schedule canlendars for each employee, thinking on new promotions for next month and gathering info. to put my plan into play. I still have 3 employees that change shifts throughout the day so they are keeping the salon clean. Each shift has designated duties that keep the salon in top shape. I spend most of my time fine tuning. I am constantly looking for new ideas, moving around my retail so that old looks new and painting is around the corner. I try to stay busy so I don't realize how slow it is because then I get depressed and I have to stay positive to keep my self going to get things done for the busy season.

Besides cleaning,I'm deciding on colors to paint the entire salon.
