Rep Power: 0 | My electrican told me that he doesn't need to get public service involved to upgrade the electrical box from 200 Amps to 400 amps. Is this true? I thought public service has to run a new line to the building to increase capacity. However, the electrician says on the contrary. |

Rep Power: 0 | It will depend on whether or not there is already enough power coming into the building. If there is enough coming in that is not being used by another tenant, the electrician is right. If he has been out to your building and checked it out, trust him. |
