Rep Power: 25 | You don't want to let your salon become hot....your equiptment and lamps are much more efficient if it is cool. Plus you need to educate to your clients that they do not need to be hot to get tan. We do get by from about Nov-Jan with just one A/C unit vs 2 that run the rest of the year......but I am in the midwest where during Nov-Jan the temps are below 0. Two of my three salons have NEVER turned the furnace on EVER. The third only uses heat for about 2-3 hrs per day in the winter. |

Rep Power: 0 | I realize that the 5 tons is not sufficient for 7 beds. However, I was counting on the fact that I am opening my salon in Nov. Basically, it will be open during the colder months. Do I still need 1 tons per bed during the winter? |

Rep Power: 22 | There is an actual formula for determining the the # of BTU's per hour the equipment puts out. Since $1000 per ton seems to be the nomal cost, I'd do it right now so you don't have some guy in your ceiling come spring like one of my customer's did.
