I am amazed at by the level of generousity I find here. The information you all freely share is priceless. I cannot put a dollar amount on the problems I have been able to avoid just by lurking through the various forums. I know this data has been hard earned by making mistakes and learning from them and I just wanted to thank you for sharing them with everyone.

Our salon is scheduled to open by Dec. 1, 2002 and as soon as we open and I begin making my own mistakes :-) I will return the favor by posting whatever I learn from them. :-)

Congrats on your new adventure. We will do all we can do to help. I just wish this board had been available when I took the plunge. Better late than never I guess. I have learn a lot here and made some great friends.

By all means read "Ask Don" forum. He is very technical at times but you will get use to it. (Sometimes I have to read a topic several times before it starts to sink in) He is a wealth of information and is continually researching for our great industry.

Register for the Salon Owners forum if as soon as you get your doors open. Chunn will call to verify and then you are in. Lots of things there to learn as well.

And of course, I am sure you have visited Management with Laurie, Training with Teresa, and Skin Care with Chris.

I could go on and on at this moment, but I am sure you get the picture.
