Has anyone ever leased equipment before?

In Ohio I met a great company called Evans Leasing Services..

At this time I own all our equipment in our facility, but have thought about opening another location about 18 miles away from where we are now..
My accountant tells us that Leasing is very good. Leasing is flexable..Leasing has tax advantages Leasing is Better than taking a bank loan. Is leasing cost effective? I have never leased before this is something I don't know

I had a chance to speak with the reps. from Evans while in Ohio..
What nice people.n
If you have questions they can help you out.
Give them a call at 319-294-6767.
and let me know about your experiance with leasing...

I dont like it, make sure you have a proper buy out at the end of your lease.

I worked with Jackie at Evans. She is absolutely wonderful to deal with. So far, absolutely no problems with this company.

I too have thought of using a leasing company.

I have heard nightmares happening if you don't stay on top of the details.

Chris, we have another thread in this forum that discusses the nightmares one of our members went through with a particular leasing company. I'll see if I can locate it and bump it for you to see.

Someone once explained (also in another thread) that in the long run it doesn't necessarily save big money taxwise to lease instead of buying. Please, before you sign anything... have it carefully reviewed by a lawyer and have them explain every single detail of the terms.
