Rep Power: 0 | I'm gathering data in the effort of opening my own salon soon, but I need help in getting some figures on day-to-day customers. I know its going to depend on area however there has to be a basic rule of thumb you can go off on. I have gotten numbers from 30-40 a day, but 30-40 a day doesn't help with estimating sales. 30 a day could be 30 monthly tanners coming every day. Any trade associations you can refer would be helpful also. Any help is appreciated. Since we are talking in general terms here you can assume certain things like, an array of beds, an average # of beds, an average demographic and competitive pricing.[ This Message was edited by: MItanner on 2002-03-01 12:24 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | To many variables need more info. What kind of beds, how many, what are your area demographics, are you purchasing an isitisng salon or starting from sratch? What prices are you planing to charge? how many levels of beds are you going to have? What prices are your competitors charging, what kind of beds do they have? Lotion and merchandise should be a minimum of 20% of your sales, services and upgrades would be the remaining percentage. That the best I could do for you with what info you provided. Sorry Wish I could be of more help. Mj |
