Rep Power: 0 | I would appreciate any and all feedback from the pros on the quality of beds produced by various bed manufacturers. Is there a industry standard or workhorse? Solaris, Sunquest, Sunstar, Tanses, Puretan, Sundash, any recommendations for a start-ups initial purchase? Got any brewery or beer related questions? give me a stout, I mean shout. |

Rep Power: 23 | Moontan, I'm not trying to blow you off, but your best bet is to do a search in the equipment section. Everyone here has different types of equipment, and I'm sure like myself they would recommend the type of equipment they have. In order to help you out we may need a little more information. What type of price range are you in? Are you looking for base beds, upgrades, etc.? I personally have Sonnenbraune. I think they are wonderful. They are easy to maintain, especially for myself who is not mechanically inclined in any way. And, as with any equipment, if you treat them right they will work well for you for years. |

Rep Power: 28 | moontan, welcome aboard.... your question is a very good one. perhaps if you could tell us how many beds you want. basic, upgrade, hp, vhr etc. we could help you more. everyone has their own opinion on the bed brand they like. i really like the tropical series by uwe. i also have dr. muellar and dr. kern that i like for upgrades. you need to do some research on companies that make the beds and dist. that sell them so you can pick out a company that you feel comfortable with. hope you learn lots here |

Rep Power: 0 | We are very new open 3 weeks, unlike you I found the boards too late. For not too much more you can have a very well made bed. Don't rush in and don't let anyone rush you. Read your brains out on this and other boards. TAN in the bed and have a friend or trunsted family member tan in the bed before you decide. We bought ETS because we were rushed by a salesman and liked the price. I am already looking to other companies to fill my 3 remaining rooms. ETS tans fine even good, we have the sunstar 32 and solaris 42 3 facials, starpower and the sundome. I can honestly say the sundome stays no matter what (it tans your rear off, or burns whichever LOL) But long term I can't see the sunstars lasting more than a coupla years. The solaris is metal and I think it will be ok for a while. I am disappointed in the Starpower and it needs much stronger lamps to compete in its class. I hope this helps. I am being pretty brave saying I have ets equip so don't bash me too hard. Dawn |

Rep Power: 23 | Just like Dawn I was to late on finding these boards to & jumped on the ETS bandwagon & now YES I'm kicking myself in the ***. But what is done is done & I have to live & learn from my mistake- I too am looking @ other companies to fill my remaining rooms. Some of my EtS beds are fine, I just know now that I REALLY have to baby them to make them last.(knock on wood , no problems yet w/in this year) But I do have to say my sunvision bed is poor quality, plastic is already turning yellow & cracking , would be okay for home use, but not commercial!Go Metal! and take your time in learning about the beds you are investing in- learn from my mistake & many others. |

Rep Power: 23 | That sounds like the sunstar speed 175. I also bought beds from ETS. Although I have only been open a couple of months I have had many complements on the these beds. Can some of you that have experience with these beds let me know what kind of problems you have had? |

Rep Power: 23 | In my 3rd season with the puretan circe 33. love it LOVE IT all metal, etc. I agree tan in it before you buy it , the salesman should be able to give you a salon name that has something for you to try, y ou might have to drive a while to tan in it. I drove 4 hrs to tan in a Tan America. It is a nice bed as well, LOVE MY PURETAN. |
