My doors will be opening hopefully in the next week or two. Any ideas or tips on a Grand Opening?

Have you already advertised this? If you have great if you haven;t you should.

Call some lotion comapnies and see if they would be willing to send you some free samples for the big day, that way you can give away stuff.

Offer some grand opening specials also

do you plan on having any drawings for free products, tanning? Do you have a banner annouceing the opening? If not, you may contact your local coke, pepsi company and they may provide one if you get a small fountain machine for free drinks. I do this once a year for customer appreciation and it is an inexpensive perk for customers.

I haven't really set a date yet. I really hoped to be open by halloween but this contracter is dragging his feet getting my carpet down. He says he should be able to have it done by this weekend, but he said that last week.

After that then I can set up my stuff and (deep breath) open. I'm a little anxious. I've spent a lot of money, I hope some of it returns.
