I'm posting this in the newbie section because it's appropriate for people looking to get in this business. However, A business plan is something that an existing owner should have as well. A business plan will cause to you evaluate your goals and current practices. Here are some website's that can help you. I got these from the july issue of "Today's Image" magazine.bplans.comcch.comBrenner Books Online

Well here's a couple more helpful hints when doing the business plan.first contact your local bank and ask them what they like to see in a business plan. your business plan is just that it should say everything about the business your opening. put 100% effort into laying it out. some plans are simple 4-5 pages long others are 20-30 pages. remember that the financial section seems to be the hardest part of it. don't sell yourself short here. remember make sure your numbers add up and when doing the section for start up cost quote your prices for pc's office supplies, signage high its better to over price then under price things. if your in a regulated state don't forget to add the rules and regs of the state. BTW I hate landlords just got off the phone with them and they don't want to offer any help and I'm willing to sign a 5 year lease. ok back to business plan stay focused and make it the very best. just a side note add color and graphs as well.
