Rep Power: 24 | Would like to hear from different salon owners on the decor of their salons. many times as a new salon owner you dont have the chance to visit salons outside your area. I for one visited 10-15 salons to see what the decor was like. there are some great ideas out there while also I see people just slapping paint on the wall and a open for business sign on the door. give me a idea of what a customer might see if he or she visits your salon. from lobby to tanning rooms. thanks everyone. |

Rep Power: 0 | We have 5 salons with each having their own unique touch. Our newest salon has a water fountain in the center of the hall. The store has ceramic tile floors, built in shelving, the restrooms have ceramic tile up the wall, and gold fixtures. We always have a candle burning at all salons. Pastels are our primary colors at this location. Our largest salon which has 46 beds has an entirely different atmosphere. The lobby is very large and glass cases are built in behind the front desk to hold product. Brighter colors are in this store. We have plants, prints hanging, and apparel. One store has wallpaper and pictures throughout, a very homey touch.------------------Carin WalkerSandollar Tanning Resorts |

Rep Power: 0 | We opened our salon last October. I have received nothing but compliments on our decor! I have scanned some photos to send to my parents and would be glad to send them to you - e-mail me at alohatan@rcn.com if you would like me to send them to you.We used a greenish color for the wall - not Kelly green, more like a muted green/gray. The carpet has green, black and tan specs and it really pulls together the color on the walls. The trim and the doors are white, very dynamic. We have black and white Ansel Adams pictures on the walls in each room. We also have a candle burning at all times in the front. All my furniture is black wrought iron - very simple, yet classy. First impressions are everything. People are so impressed with the decor; they honestly all say that this is the nicest salon they have been in. We did all the work ourselves, so it wasn't that expensive.Good luck! |
