Rep Power: 0 | Hi everyone. We are starting a salon soon and I was wondering how much traffic you get in the off season versus the busy season. Is it 1/2 as much or more? I think we are starting in Oct-Nov, so it'll be slow, but I'm tryring to guage how slow. Also what are electric bills like? We'll have 5-6 beds and are in the seattle area. Thanks.. |

Rep Power: 24 | I can't answer all your question... but I'd like to welcome you to Tantalk. I know that some salons slow to about a third of what they normal traffic is during the slow season. It can be a good time to open if you have the resources (funds, money, capital, etc) to stay afloat then without all the revenue pouring in. From what I have learned the best time to open is in Dec/Jan because it's not too long to be slow and a grand opening in February/March usually does the best.Anyone else on the other questions??? Again, welcome!! |
