Rep Power: 0 | Can someone tell me specifically why ETS beds are so vilified on all the tanning message boards? We own a couple, less than 1 year old, and have had no troubles. Customers love them. I would like to know what I might be up against in the coming year(s) so I can be prepared. Is it possible they are now producing better quality beds, yet the shabby reputation is still lingering?? (doubt it, but had to ask!) |

Rep Power: 23 | I think bed companies are similar to car companies. Manufacture an inferior product at a low price and you'll get buyers only until the word begins to spread. Then improve quality, work on the image, get new buyers and the reputation is hard to overcome. This is merely speculation and in no way based in actual experience with this particular company. I have heard both sides of the issue. I have a friend in Pittsburgh who loves her ETS beds and I have another friend who swears she will never buy another. At this point, it's still purely speculation, but I gather that you are probably correct in your assumption on overcoming a shoddy reputation from past mistakes. |

Rep Power: 0 | I love ETS beds. They used to make a really cruddy (do you like that word??) tanning bed. But I think that it was in '96 or '97 they changed management and changed their equipment. I have no problems with them, they tan amazing, and they are easy to service and clean. The only thing that they need to address is the SunDome gets too hot.- Nik |

Rep Power: 0 | Stang probably drives a muSTANG after he sold his Yugo. I believe if thats true you know a mustang can perform with some of the fancy cars at half the price. So please share your ETS horrer stories if you actualy have any. That would be more helpful than there the Yugo of tanning beds. Alot of people sell stuff here (unlike I) that can use real info. Thanks |
