Rep Power: 24 | As far as the UV doing any damage, that isn't the worry. What you have to worry about is the heat. Anytime you raise the core body temperature of the mother, the fetus is at risk. You also have to consider that pregnant women sometimes do not have the best balance in the world...do you really want them falling on their way out of a bed?We do not knowingly allow pregnant women to tan...it is just not a risk I want to take with my business. |

Rep Power: 24 | Oh absolutely scared! If our tanners have a package, we extend it, if we know when they actually have the baby we will send them a card....anything but have them blame me for something. I had to quit tanning when I was pregnant and I was ok with that. I would never have forgiven myself if I would have had something go wrong (ie., falling, overheating, etc) |

Rep Power: 24 | I had one lady in particular that was determined to tan. She was botherd that we requested a note from her Doctor. After a bout with her doctor(he did not want to put anything in writing)she got the note.After that she decided to take our suggestionand not tan. |
