Looking to see what kind of responce people are getting from this service. Want to find a way to reach out to clients that have not been in for a while. Also want to creat a sence of urgency to clients to come in and buy something that maybe only being offered for a short period of time. I would like to see if there is a more effective and cheaper alternative to direct mailings, which i feel is very expensive, with a small % of return rate. I would think that text messages puts the message right in the clients pocket versus a mailing mixed with a bunch of bills and junk mail. Dont know, would like to hear from others that have tried this versus mailings

I only do Email (through my website) and text deals (textripple.com). No more mailing everything we do is electronic. I also use Yahoo, Google, Yelp and CitySearch etc...

I can tell you if you mail me something it will go directly into the trash. Even some bills go there if they don't make it clear its a bill. I think it's a complete waste.

My email doesn't cost me anything to do as it's part of my website package. I tell people to enable our addy so it doesn't go to spam.

I did an email for our shortened hours (blizzard) with an offer and got 20 people just from that, each bought a package and got a lotion for 50% off.

Texting is a great way to go. Our target market is constantly glued to the phone/text machine. It is also instant. You can be having a crappy day & send out a text with some crazy deal for 4 hours only & you will be amazed what can happen.

You just can send them daily, it has to be random, not even weekly or they will start to ignore them.

spook textripple is a flat $50 a month i have 2 keywords. i can send 3 per month
