Rep Power: 0 | Business To Business Sales Ideas I've looked through many of the posts and haven't found much on this and was hoping to start a new thread that focused on ideas and businesses/industries from a B2B sales stand point. I would appreciate any ideas of what you are doing with other businesses to cross promote. 1. What business/industries have been successful for you in driving sales into your salon? 2. What have you typically offered them? Something for owner/staff employees/customers? Do you separate the offering? Is the offer industry specific in some cases? 3. What businesses have been successful for you in bartering for services that have been helpful? I would appreciate any and all ideas that anyone has used. This would be a good thread for all if we can get some good responses. Thanks in advance for everyone's help. Chris |

Re: Business To Business Sales Ideas For me it is the usual, Gym, hair salon. They get discounts I get access to customers. Staff from the gym gets a discount I get to hand out cards at the gym and we link on each others website. Same with Salon though they walk customers over who have not tanned with us and they get a free week for the referral. This is one of the lowest per customer costs when acquiring new customers. | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Business To Business Sales Ideas Here is what I have done successfully in the past: Think BIG!! Join the Chamber of Commerce. There is a booklet listing contact information for all chamber members. Create a special for the employees of member companies. I set a specific date as open sign up day with VERY special rates one day only. This is mailed on a custom postcard to the general address as well as to the HR department. I follow up with an email. You can even request that people call in advance to set an appointment so you can predict success. I allow the employees to sign up on an ongoing basis at corporate rates if they miss the one day event. And make it a party like atmoshphere. If you need postcards designed and printed let me know i have a SUPER CHEAP guy! |
