Re: What do you feel is the biggest difference between...
Biggest difference? Price. For $60 in DS you can get something for $40 in DC. I used to be a big fan of DS but after brining in and using DC I can say its a great line that I think in superior to DS.
Lets take 14k Gold. Its a thicker lotion, smells decent but has a greasy feeling and you do get the "I need to shower an hour later" effect. Thats pretty common with most of the Designer Skin stuff I have used. But at $72 retail for 14k Gold I would expect something better. Devoted seems to not have that problem as much. Almost any client that has used DC has commented how much better their skin feels after using it. I am using Needing Nirvana but it does have a slight "I need to shower" effect and probably wont use another bottle. Serenity, Glory, Unity and Praise do not have that problem and do most of the others. What is comes down to is three basic things. How it feels going on. How it feels in the bed (are you sliding around). The color you get. Smell and price certainly can make that list but if it smells great and costs a lot but gives you no color its a mute point I feel. We will still stock Designer but Devoted in the center line this year and next for sure.

Re: What do you feel is the biggest difference between...
Thank you!!! For the past 5 years I have primarily carried DS. I have a few Supre after tan products but for indoor tanning lotion DS has a large enough selection that its all that I have carried. Just for me and my salons I prefer to stick to one main product line, I feel it shows that I back this product 100% and DS lotions can be confusing enough that I don't want to confuse the customer even more :o) But I feel that it may be time for something new! I did that before when I got rid of Cal Tan and brought in DS and it went over GREAT!! I have read so many great things on this forum about DC and my lotion rep has talked to me about it before but part of me was wondering if a spiff was involved for her for selling the DC. Thanks again for taking the time to reply back to me!

Nashville will be fun for me merely because one of the things I plan on doing is finding a dist. who will offer me as good a discount on DC as I'm getting on DS ;)

Re: What do you feel is the biggest difference between...
I get a heavier discount on DC than DS from my dist. Thats because ETS is trimming discounts it seems and now DS is owned by them.
However on California Tan. Great products there also. I carry them on and off. Also stock Supre. Always carry Designer. Its a "staple" line that people expect it seems. I am not sure of a spiff program with Devoted, but I did get back A LOT from Devoted that I was not expecting as part of a spiff program from Devoted to me directly.

Devoted Creations has some great new lotions and aren't nearly as expensive as Designer Skin. It's the new trendy line with lotions that can attract customers from 18-38.
