As a way of trying to keep my skin from getting too damaged, I'm considering cutting back on tanning some and using a moisturizer with a little sunless tanner in it. I know that Jergen's or any traditional drugstore kind would be a bad choice, since they contain mineral oil. I noticed that Designer Skin makes a lotion called Tinted Love that contains gradual sunless tanner and Supre Hempz sells a lotion called shimmer bronze or something like that which is supposed to do the same.

Has anyone tried either of these? I want to place an order for some, but I'm not sure which would be better. The Hempz has shimmer in it which may be good or could have a weird effect. Thanks!

Have you tried cosmetic tanning yet done by a technician? I have one client that has me order her Hempz shimmer that really likes it. Some of them just use a regular tanning lotion with some DHA in it. Others buy the moisturizers we have that go with spray tanning to extend their tans. Also are you tanning more then twice a week now at the maximum minutes? What makes you think you are tanning too much...is your skin very dry?

I just started tanning again since Summer is here and ordered a bottle this week. I use that lotion all the time when tanning. I'm going to be sad if they stop making it.

Is there going to be a new product like it ?

I wonder how the entire western hemisphere survives with sunshine throughout the entire year. They should build a bubble dome over all of those Continents, i'm surprised they are all alive still and they haven't rotted into a ball of cancer.
