Tanology - what's up with potion 1-3?

Searched tanology and found a lot of posts. Most only talk about potion 4-6. What's the deal with potion 1-3, not worth carrying?

#2 is a great lotion,intensifier/bronzer.

For the money,your better off pushing the SPA pure hydration accelerator.

I think the #3 is a hot action,better to just go #6.All are great,with great results.
