I agree with the sales being closer to 700-1000 per day... I can't get my girls to sell based on product..they sell the "deal" no the value of the product.. so it devalues it..

I see Gary at least once a week around here, my buddy owns the club he sings at on Monday's
Vanilla Ice was here about a month ago or so

It is a pretty cool town.. home of Oregon State University.. the BEAVERS.. :)
who have won the National Championship in baseball the last 2 years... and gave USC their defeat in football last year..

Work a low priced lotion into the deal to get them started on a product.

Have you looked at the actual 100+/- clients records to see if they have a lotion? If they are not buying lotion from you are they buying it anywhere OR perhaps your staff is giving it away or not being diligent enough in banning crap &/or outdoor products from your salon?

I know one issue is e-bay-
but the real issue seems to be the customers don't see a value in it, unless it is some good deal.. like buy a bottle of Worship Me / Flare and get a free month etc..
then the "deal" is what people buy.. not the great lotion in the bottle.. then whenever there is no "deal" going on.. nothing sells, unless I am working to sell it..

This makes me really think about only having a few Des Skin lotions, maybe my top 3 sellers-- Worship Me, Worship and Flare.. and then going with a much lower priced line like Hoss Sauce etc.. that people would be more inclined to buy from me vs. e-bay or other sources.. it seems like the majority of lotions people bring in are Hoss Sauce..

Hoss Sauce SUX IMO & I don't think I'm the only one -- what kind of lotion is your staff using? Does your staff see value in using a good lotion?

The staff use Designer Skin.. Spellbound, Bronze Camo etc.. the high end top shelf stuff..
but average joe tanner can't afford those at retail, so they buy them on e-bay or amazon..

We sell what the girls talk about.. for a while, I had 1 girl who loved My Passion.. we sold it like crazy.. and another girl who liked Ray of Light.. so we sold lots of Ray of Light..

but with the top shelf stuff... no one buys it or they buy it from other sources.. that none of us can compete with..
