I have this customer that is as black as the ace of spades and she says "Im not getting any darker what lotion will make me black?" LORD HELP ME!! She says I don't want a bronzer because thats fake and no tingle because I get these white spots BLAA BLAAAAA. Anyway how do you handle this situation and please before I pull out my hair!!

this is when the world of technology shines its blessing on us....keep your digital camara handy take a picture of her and let her see how dark she is...whats the old saying "ohh for the gift to see ourselves as other see us!" but still talk her into a lotion....Accelerators like Ambrosia are great or Naked Truth by Fiji......theres a cheap on that just came out called Hey Gorgeous its actually really good....all else fail if you offer airburshing offer that to her once in awhile along with tanning(makes you more bling$$)....

HAHA! This sounds exactly like a customer I have. She always comes in and says "I just can't get no darker!". It cracks me up. She seriously brought in a DUFFEL bag full of lotions she had bought over the past few years. There were things in there I had never even seen before. She mostly sticks to the tingles, and I always try to talk her into a bronzer but she says they just don't do anything for her. She also mixes all of her various lotions together. About two months ago she bought about four different bottles of lotion in one week. She's a nut.

Don't you wonder though, if you mix a tingle with - whatever scale you're using - tingle factor 5 with a lotion with tingle factor 3... what do you get? A stronger tingle than 5 or not???

And the same with bronzers....
