Private Label ?? What do you think?

I have been retailing Caltan and Designer Skin for years..I'm so frustrated with their NO help in the diversion issues..oh well enough of that..What do you guys think about going to PRIVATE labeling? PROS and CONS...

PS> I have had not only the above lotions in the salon, but Supre, Fiesta Sun, Austr. Gold, Swedish, JA, Hot Sauce, OC, Protan, Attitude,:CaribeanGold, ..

Any thoughts is much appreciated...

We PL all of our tanning lotions and skincare products. IMO the national brands focus more on the bottle then what is actually in the bottle.

Stop diversion in it's tracks. While it is OK to order a bottle or two for a special client, stand behind what you decide to carry and they will follow.

I am phasing out all my CalTan and Tan Inc. I've already done away with my Designer Skin. I just ordered the salon toolkit from Relime (PL) and it should ship on Friday. I also spoke to Tanology and ordered samples from them yesterday. I'll let you know what I/my customers say about all of it once it arrives.

Question for those of you who already sell Tanology:

The bottle design is pretty odd, and not too attractive. How does it sell for you all?
