Cheap subsitute for indoor lotions?
Im curious if anyone knows of anything i could use as a subsitute to exspensive indoor tanning lotions. I know i need something that will moisturize the skin but i also heard that it shouldnt have oils in it because those would reflect uva rays? So im confused, does anyone have any advice as to maybe a simple moistureizer or gel aloe would have help? Im not looking for a full subsitute just something that would be better than nothing. Thanks

Re: Cheap subsitute for indoor lotions?
What ive learned so far from tanning, there isnt a real good sub for good quality lotion. Ive tried a few lower priced lotions, but they worked great. Synergy is low priced, works pretty good. Plus you dont want to dry your skin out do you?

Re: Cheap subsitute for indoor lotions?
To have the most results from your tanning session and keep your skin in good condition: use an indoor tanning lotion. Most salons offer packettes or cups, so that you don't have to spend a huge amount at once.
And use a good moisturizer afterwards. |

Re: Cheap subsitute for indoor lotions?
There are plenty of less expensive quality salon lotions that you can use. You don't want to substitute that for a crappy $2.99 bottle from the local flea market. Your skin is what people see and look at, I think that it is very important that it is taken care of...

Yeah, if you can't afford to take care of your skin, you might as well just go sit outside.

Re: Cheap subsitute for indoor lotions?
Tanning lotions can get pricey, I hear ya. However, if you are going to be tanning indoors it's very important that you use salon quality indoor products - both for the health of your skin and the sake of acrylics.
There are many low priced designated indoor tanning lotions out there. Synergy has some great low priced products - Brown Envy, for example. Should retail around $14. Emerald Bay lotions are typically around $20. The Cotton Candy line also has some good, low-priced lotions. I have a feeling this is what you were asking about...am I correct? |
