Not tested on animals?

I love John Abaté lotions as they are not tested on animals, nor are the ingredients ever tested on animals.

Does anyone know any other brand that can say that (and have good lotions)?

swedish beauty and australian gold said they do not test on animals... i think that most of the major brands probably don't do this anymore....

No not anymore, DS doesn't test the products either, but they can't guarantee that the ingredients have never been tested.

On the bottles of JA it's mentioned and officially labeled. That is not the case with DS and AG, so I think that is the reason. I would like other brands that can guarantee it...?

I know that Deep Hawaii (Biddiscombe Labs) have it stated on their bottles that they do not test on animals and the product is vegan.

well if they state that they don't test on animals wouldn't that include the final product and the ingrediants? i asked AG and SB why it isn't stated on the bottle... he didn't have an answer but he gauranteed they don't test on animals... i dunno

do you not use any product tested on animals? if so i just read on PETA.com that welches grape juice and ocean spray both tests their products on animals... can you believe that? i had NO idea...

Yes it is often not as clearcut as it seems.... That's why I respect JA so much. It's easy to state that your products have never been tested on animals without saying anything about the ingredients (unfortunately that happens a lot). That really sucks in my opinion.

I try to use only products that are in the guide from a Dutch organization kinda like PETA. But they haven't got a list for tanning lotions yet (that's not a big thing (yet I hope :-)) in the Netherlands). So I'm trying to find it out myself. For shampoo, soap, facial creams, cleaning products, petfood, etc I can just check the list.

I don't know Deep Hawaii, are the products good?

I like the Deep Hawaii lotion Locals Only- it's a pure lotion- no bronzer, no tingle, REALLY moisturizing.

how do they know if they are safe for humans if they haven't been tested on animals? that always conufuses me. if you need cancer treatment and it was tested on a mouse do you refuse treatment? or am i misunderstanding the testing on animals idea.
marca you might want to check out aveda products for hair etc., they've been a leader on no testing on animals for a LONG time. I do use their products.
