Most indoor tanning lotion manufacturers test products on their employees, tanning salon owners and their associates.
In advance stages, yes I think it's more moral to test on humans. They can consent. But of course first on alternatives like artificial skin.

Re: Not tested on animals?

i just love animals and i hate the suffering... i realize that some testing is going to take place, but that doesn't mean it makes me happy... i realize that the majority of people will always eat meat.... what i don't think is ok is the how the animals are treated... they are often tortured, and treated inhumane... its terrible the amount of unnecessary suffering that they go through...

so if i could buy from a company that doesn't test on animals, rather then one that does i will... Marca you should call the companies and ask them. i just read that banana boat tests on animals... (obviously we aren't selling that in our salons, but...)

I don't know exactly how it works, but they can 'grow' artificial skin...

Furthermore they can use deceased pets (like donors) and they can test 'in vitro'.

Re: Not tested on animals?

Thanks, I have Tasha, but I have only been able to find John Abaté. The others that disty's carry in the Netherlands, can only say that they do not test there products on animals right now. They can't guarantee the ingredients.

Re: Not tested on animals?

i do support peta if that is what you mean... they have done a lot of good... i already said that i never said everything about them is perfect... but in general they have done more for animal suffering then any other organization of their type... their is corruption in every organization, NRA, catholic church, government... but that doesn't mean you stop believing in the cause

LOL!

I consider myself a conservationist but Peta is way, way, way out there. A little research and no one would support this bunch.
