Re: smolder or unforgiven?

i have used their upgrade beds a few times the viper and silver bullet to try to tan my arms because the only color they seem to be getting is from the bronzer

Re: smolder or unforgiven?

I've used both Unforgiven and Smolder...both are good lotions. I think Unforgiven has a bad smell after you get out of the bed. Smolder smells fruity when you put it on and it still smells like that when you get out. It's will set your butt on fire. I love it!

Re: smolder or unforgiven?

Yes, I know I need to learn how to quote someone, lol, BUT

CaribbeanTanMan, do you really think that Unforgiven would be too much for a tingler newbie? I started using it last week in an upgrade bed after having not used a tingler since 2001. About halfway through my session I felt a WEE bit of burn that lasted about 2 hours tops. For a T40 it feels pretty weak BUT I got incredible color and did get past my plateau even after cosmetic bronzer fading. From what I recall SB's tinglers are nowhere near as fierce as other lines. I don't really find much if any ATO with Unforgiven either.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it to a tanner still achieving a base tan but after that a tingler newbie would have no problem with Unforgiven IMO. Of course I'd make sure to let the newbie know NOT to use it on his/her face. Oddly enough I get BETTER lasting face color NOT using lotion on my face in the HP standup than when I used a non-tingle lotion on it...yeah I'm weird.

Re: smolder or unforgiven?

Does Unforgiven smell any better than other SB lotions? I don't even carry SB because the ato is so disgusting and I can't stand the smell in my salon, but I have heard that Unforgiven gives great results and have thought about using it myself.

Re: smolder or unforgiven?

tanheather, IMO (which is also the consensus of the IAMTAN.com members, check their Lotion Ratings section) Unforgiven has *very* little if any ATO. I have used other SB lotions (mainly Chocolate Indulgence) and I agree that the majority stink to the high heavens afterwards. If you can order a few bottles you probably won't regret it as Unforgiven has become a "lotion du jour" for most hardcore tanners I know. ****, if you don't sell it I'll buy them from you.
