DS Spellbound

What's the deal with the silicon? What does it actually do for your skin? I was considering calling DS to ask them but thought I'd ask here first.
I've used Spellbound and absolutely love it but how can I get my customers to use it if I don't even know what the active ingredients do? Please help.

Put it on the back of their hand and tell them to rub it in. Let them know it's the only lotion to make your skin feel like velvet.....not to mention it has 4 bronzers as well. It works everytime for me.

^^^^ me too. I have them try a less expensive bronzer example: pretty in Paris and then give them a little bit from my secret stash bottle and 9 times outa 10 they buy the Spellbound. I will say it again it is tough to go back to the Geo Metro after driving the ferrari

Oh I also find with my clients when I start getting too technical I lose them. I just keep it simple and let the product speak for itself.

Getting too technical...that makes total sense glow. I see the same thing happen when I start to talk too much lol

LOL... the best thing to have is the DS chrt with all the lotions so clients can compare the key ingredients , once they look at it and they want the higher end lotions because its more skin acre.

I used to have a bunch of those but I don't know what happened to them?

The best way is to have them try it out. I have a display right at the front desk with the bottle of lotion along with a sample cup (Tester) that I let them use to rub on top of one hand and while they are doing it I'm explaining to them that this has 4x the bronzer which gives a nice color and as you can see it feels silky, powdery due to a silicone emulsion for their skin...(by this time they are looking at me...with ooohs & ahhhs). I tell them it has a nice fragrance (they are now sniffing....mmmmm), then I tell them to feel their other hand and tell them...can you feel the difference in how your skin feels? (Their eyes are wide open with excitement) of course the big question....How much does it cost? (Okay, I keep the excitement going by offering them 20% plus a free upgrade) So instead of $68 it's only $54 plus a free upgrade! OKAY SOLD!!! Works for me everytime!! I sold my first 12 in 2 days. And ordered 6 more in....Sold....now working on my next 6!

Of course I saw one of my clients come in today with a bottle and I know she didn't buy it from me. I know she called me one day to ask the cost and she was calling from her hair stylist location, who probably bought it for her at cost. NOW THAT SUCKS!!

i sold a good amount of it also! there was a special buy 6 bottles and get 25 packettes free i sampled them out and 90% of the people eventually bought a bottle i even let 1 girl pay 1/2 and 1/2. i keep the bottle till paid!

^^^^^^^^ I have 5 boxes of those samples in my cabinet. I have to hand the **** things out! LOL I will have those forever I order 12 bottles a week so multiply that! Good lord!
