I figured it was too much. My stomach is still a tiny bit red, but you can notice a tan. And it itches a little. The last time I went I didn't use lotion, went for 14 minutes... and this was about four days ago? I think i'll go again this weekend. How much time should I go for? I don't want to get burned like I did last time. I'm usuing Hemp this time too. I want to try it out before I go looking for Halo. I hate how theres sometimes kid working behind the counter talking to their friends. Seems like they don't really know much. Thanks |

All good avice here.. I agree with u all, and again, it's important to support your tanning salon, they only have a few months to make their$ to pay for all the winter months.... hang in there and ask questions when you visit there, I'm sure they would be more than happy to offer their advice, It's why they're there in the first place....

Lack of education = Burned clients !!! We belong to smart tan and are certified., we skin type all of clients. You should be ok at 10 minutes if you are going into a 20 min. bed, stay there a couple times then up the time by 2 minutes for the next couple sessions then 2 more minutes the next 2 sessions etc.. Keep your skin moisterized , drink plenty of water and don't tan everyday.. |

Re: New Tanner... SexU Hemp?
girls, FYI, you should never burn. Like ALOHA said, a Smart Tan salon should know what your exposure schedule should be. A sunburn never equals a dark tan. A sunburn is damaging you skin. Always use an indoor tanning lotion and a quality lotion with SPF outdoors. I would also shop around for a tanning salon that has certified tanning consultants. A great salon will educate you on lotion, exposure time and eyewear.
