We have a little of the line in - Bronze Bling, a step one with triple bronzers, and Hysteria, step 2 with triple bronzers - have been flying off the shelves, we received sample bottles to put in cups and almost everyone who tries buys the bottle. Get Dark I find a good starter lotion at the low end for my non lotioners and the folks we've taken the Walmart crap away from . . . still waiting for the rest of our order, especially the Ionyx - has anyone tried this one yet? Ordered it off the promo material, no samples yet

Everything from caltan seems to have a bronzer in it this year - I am looking for something new without bronzer or tingle! the GET DARK is too low end for us

It seems like most of the lotions that have come out are bronzers. I hope next year the bronzing fad runs out and we return back to basics.

no kidding - still feel weird when questioned about EXACTLY what a bronzer is, advising client it is a mild self tanner - the manufacturers need to get down to developing good skincare, not new versions of self tanners to give clients for the beds!

Caltan's Minx from Chaos and Ionyx do not have Bronzers.

The reason why Cal Tan came out with bronzers is because there is demand for bronzers. Some customers don't want it, but a lot do. Hey riverbrat, thanks for getting kicked out of industry professionals. It seems like all you DS lovers could attack me and that was OK, but if someone wrote something good about my company it was spam. Complain some more, maybe I won't even be able to come in here and interact with fellow tanners.

woah - now maybe we can get back to the lotion discussion?

Lola-falana, or anyone else, have you tried the Minx or Ionyx products? we are waiting for ours to come, wondering if we should be excited or not?! haha!

Re: CALTAN 2006 lotions

I find the Bronze Bling stinks. I've had it in for a week or so and just sold one bottle today. It's actually triple action, not triple bronzers. I inquired because I couldn't understand why as a step one they would have triple bronzers. But it was explained to me that it's 3 times longer lasting and not a lot of DHA. It smells great in the bottle but as soon as it's on I find it stinks. I gave it to a customer to try and she said the same thing.

Re: CALTAN 2006 lotions

it is a triple bronzer through - DHA erythrulose + cosmedic tint ...

. . . and if you look to the ingredient listing on that weird, twisty, hard to read label DHA is pretty high up on the listing. We are getting customers who either love it or hate it (streaky, my partner's legs looked zebra like!)
