Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

I was just thinking that same thing succubus. A common ingrediant to point out. It's got to be some kind of oil, right. Hasn't happened here yet, but I'm sure it's coming.

Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

Actually I belive the igredient you need to watch for is Benzyl something or other, I have it on sheet at salon but i am at home...Benzyl acetate maybe. MSDS sheet warns that could be hazardous if absorbed through skin...well where else is it going to be absorb if its a lotion you apply to skin...will check and get back if that is wrong

Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

I don't think there is anything in those that will damage acrylics or harm you, it's just that they weren't purchased from a salon. That's what people get all up in arms about.

I have a sign posted. Please keep Hawaiian Tropic,Banana Boat and Panama jack by the pool. When they tell me it says salon approved,I tell them..They will tell you anything they want they could care less what you do with it once you buy it.

Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

scub,
Did you confirm what that ingredient is? I had one come in last night and she was really set on using it. I told her that if I did notice that there was any residue she'd not be allowed to use it again. It specifically said "indoor" and "no oil".

I get that-thanks...

I'm asking to know. What is it about these products that are not good for the acrylics?

Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

A lot of “store” bought have mineral oil in them or other Ing that make it difficult to clean. Some of them are just as bad as baby oil. cleaning baby oil off of plastic is a nightmare

Re: Hawaiian Tropic Tan2Max

I've read the ingrediants and I don't see oil listed. I'll make a copy of one of the labels when I see one.

Does Hiwaiian Tropic Products safe for beds? Cause I'd really like to say only salon grade products. And if they do make a legit product I don't want to be called out.
