I am a huge advocate for exceptional skin care. I am also fair skinned, red head. I would first make sure your using a great step 3 moisturizer. Designer Skin Angel or Undercover Angel is great! Total Immersion by Cal Tan is also very good. Use your step after bathing and after tanning. I personally like X Speed to help acheive a great base tan. Also you might want to use a bronzer for some instant results. Halo by designer skin is great, pretty much it is going to be your preference. If your salon offers samples try a couple and see what you like. Texture, smell are all going to differ from person to person. Talk to your salon associate, and they can also help you best seeing how they are face to face with you.

what lotions does you salon have to choose from...that would be a big help in helping you to select. NOt all salons carry the same brands, so with a little knowledge of this we can probably better assist you. You just keep this in mind, the moist your skin the better it will tan, dont be lead into a tingle until you have a great base, and using a salon sold moisturizer after a shower will help you maintain your color when you are not tanning. A Smart Tan is a healthy Tan.

I just recently bought Frigid from SexyU and Hemp lotion... I was told by the specialist at the salon that these should be the best things for me right now... Any comments?

I have never heard of Frigid. Give it a go and see how you like it.
