Hi Everyone,
I've been reading up on the questions people have on lotions, and I still dont really feel educated on the topic. I've been tanning for almost a year and I've been using SunBru's Indulgence for the last few months and I love it; it has an amazing texture right after you put it on and makes my skin feel really nice. I'm trying to expand my product range, maybe find one that smells nicer... I'm looking for something that has no hot action, no bronzer, and doesnt clog pores. What should I look for in the ingredients by way of moisturizers? Or what are other ingredients I should look for? Is an after tan product important to use? Are there any other factors to consider to enhance my tanning experience? I've had these questions for a while and would appreciate any information. My tanning place isn't always forthcoming with answers, and I don't know how much to trust them on lotion advice. -Jane |

Clean, moist skin tans best. Exfoliate once per 7 to 10 days with mitt and liquid soap, do not towel dry and moisturize immediately after shower with NO mineral oil products, and tan with a quality lotion sold in salons. An after tan product would also help. Drink lots of water.

If you are looking for a basic tanning lotion, get some Brown Envy by Synergy Tan. Yummy vanilla smell, very moisturizing, and works great. I have a pretty good tan and I still see good results from it. It is priced well too. Good after tan lotions are Body Drench (I use this one, a lot of people don't like it though.) Angel, (smells great, moisturizing), Hempz (bubble gum smell, VERY moisturizing, thick). Those are my favorites. Good luck!

Brown Envy has been doing very well in my salon. Can't keep it in stock. The results are good and I love the smell. Great price point as well!
And the Angel, wow! I love it. JK[ This Message was edited by: jungle kitty on 2003-05-01 22:34 ] |
