Fiji Surface of the Sun

I just tried this last night...WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!! I fried, I mean really fried! This lotion is thin, it is stinky and I am still itchy today. I used the lotion in the Ergoline 600 and must have touched around my eyes beacuse they were fried too....I wouldn't use this one again if they PAID ME the $35!!!!!

On the other hand, I have herad great things about their other products...Any input?

I love their Sun Tea (bronzer) and Monsoon (after-tan lotion).... I also have Island Dream. I haven't used it but it smells heavenly.

Is Island Dream that lotion/oil from Fiji???
The name sounds like it smells like coconut and coppertone....
Hmmmm, sorta like the BEach Blonde Spray....

Tingles are not for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have heard excellent reports from folks all over the country who have used Surface of the Sun........

Tingles should not be used on the face throat or chest......... only products made for the face should be used in this area........

Island Dream is the "creamy tanning oil" product. No tingle, no bronzer, smells tropical.... though not as delicious as Ocean Waves by John Frieda smells. I haven't used it yet.

I read on another board that a woman almost passed out after trying Surface of the Sun. Scared the crap outta me. I'm scared of tingles to begin with, that was all I needed to put my sample to the BACK of the shelf.

I used to use thingle all the time but I have taken a major break....
Thanks for the advice Christine, I had NO idea about using tingles on my chest...What damage does it cause?
After this incident I will be soooooo careful about touching my face after applying lotion!

I am right there with you Giacinta, I received a sample bottle of Surface of the Sun and tried it once and it seemed OK during the tan, but I smelled bad for 2 days, I threw the bottle out and will never use it again. I have never had a lotion keep any scent after a shower but this one did.... I have used Worship a couple of times lately and it is great, and has a really nice after tan scent.

remember your face throat and chest are the same type of skin...
Using a tingle will raise the blood up to the surface of the skin very quickly and this type of heat and "action" can and will dry out the skin...
Be very wise what you use in these areas, use products made for the face on the throat and chest.

You want your tan to look good..and you want to look good when you are older.....
No one needs to look a pair of shoes........Use care when tanning the face and sensitive areas of the body.......
You will thank yourself in years to come you treated your skin well........

I tried Surface of the Sun, thinking what a great looking package A+ for that. However, I did not really become all that hot. Also the amount of bronzer in their lotion stained my hands not that impressed with the product only with marketing of it.
