hi everyone,

I've been reading up on all the latest lotion posts... about cal-tan etc.
(I tried a few cal tans when we first opened but I didn't really get too many great responses from them (I may have tried teh wrong ones.... everyone seems to be liking ambrosia dark deluxe.. how about the hot chocolate and pure chocolate, or the BUTTERs (we actually had a pretty good results from those), and you all like total immersion right? I am looking to try some new stuff that is why I am asking.
Also, can anyone tell me if they carry or have used or had good results with BODY INVEST Ie... BIo glo or scarlett. or MOST (sho, or indian summer).... We've gotten some samples of these, but my customers haven't given me very good feedback...
I'd appreciate your expertise=)!
Cheers

Ambrosia DD and the Chocolates are great sellers for me, Skip the Body Invest line totally, in my opinion.

Caltan, JA and Designer skin are good products. I also like Blacksun, and thinking on Glimera for a new line.

As a tanner I've loved the results of:

Butter (my standard fave)
Pure Chocolate (a REALLY close 2nd)
Glimra TF Bronzer (not a tingle fan)

Those are probably my top 3.

I like Total Immersion but it's not my favorite moisturizer.

Our customers were never impressed with the Body Invest line. I like Most products, except for Indian Summer lotion and gel. We had the hardest time removing these products from our acrylics.

I love the CalTan products. Butter, Pure Chocolate, and Cappuccino are my 3 favorites... Accomplice is an awesome Step 1 product... I use Total Immersion every day to moisturize my body and I use Illuminate on my face as a daily moisturizer.

I am not a big fan of the Ambrosia or Ambrosia Dark Deluxe, but I like almost every other product that they make.

We have not had good luck with the chocolates....Ambrosia & Ambrosia DD have been at the top of our sales list this year along with accomplice, heat shock, caramel spice, helix, total immersion and illuminate.
We also carry Designer Skin and have had good luck with the Tantrum line.

I love the Pure Chocolate & Total Immersion, Glimra Extreme Heat with Bronzer is great, and I also like Matahari DST and Mojo! I've heard so many good things about it - Butter (or maybe melted butter)is going to be my next acquisition!

Top sellers, in order of demand:

Any Designer Skin
HP2000
JA Cote d'Azure line
Glimra (packaging works against it, but great products!)

Don't have Aloha at the moment, but they have a great line (excluding Pokana La). Nice packaging, great scents, good results.

I am a firm believer in the quality and integrity of the California Tan products. This is a company who understands about the tanning process (the 2 stages of), and customizes their lotions to mimick the skin's natural tanning process. Our customers love the Cal Tan line! Keep on tanning us, Cal Tan!
