I just have not been "into" tanning lately. (or much of anything else) I teach summer school until 12:30pm and then I'm usually good for a nap until 3 or so. By then the good sun is gone.
I feel my tan slipping away. I even did a double-take on the self-tanners at the store today. I still love my lotion shelf though. Last night I couldn't sleep, so I dusted the shelves and re-organized the bottles. Before I had the 2 shelved divided into "in use" and "never used". Now I've grouped them back to "outdoor", "tingle", "bronzer", "browning", and "cooling". hehehe what a geek. |

You've got to get to your nearest tanning salon and use those lotions! I don't think I ever experience "tanning meltdown." If my tan starts to fade to a certain point, I start to freak out and run to the salon...anyone else do this? Tanning is my therapy, it gives me time to think, sort out my problems and makes me feel great!

I love tanning too... I think that's what my problem is. My sessions ran out so I figured I'd just go to the beach until September and then renew then. I am so spoiled by 10 and 20 minute sessions, though, that I can't handle sitting outside all day!!!
I read this part in a book, "Confessions of a Shopaholic." She was saying that she once lined up all of her shoes and took a picture of them. She said "I mean, I have loads of pictures of people I don't even like. Why not have one of something that I really love?" hehehehe that is me with lotions. |

Stacy- I loved Shopaholic takes Manhattan, too! Next you have too read Fetish by Tara Moss!
The beauty of tanning salons is that you can maintain your tan without much time spent! I haven't had time to tan outdoors since highschool(which was a long time ago) but I have been tanned ever since! Just go for it- it takes so little to maintain once you have it. Regarding the shelf, I always have an extensive personal collection...I try to downsize but I love them all too!! |

One of the perks of being an owner is that I get to try just about anything I want. I also allow my employees that perk.
There are things I still haven't tried though. Next on my list: Cote de Azure - Melon Frappe and Citron Sorbet. |

My shelf is basically my bathroom windowsill and has:
Total Immersion, Brown Sugar Moisturizer, Hempz Moisturizer, Insurance, Cappuccino, Sweet Brown Sugar, Iced Creme, Melon Frappe, Margarita Madness, Butter, and a crapload of packets. It's ridiculous, I should just buy packets because I rotate so much I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever finish any of these off while they're still good! Too much new stuff comes out, too fast! On the book topic, I could give you a huge list of books like the Shopaholic books. I've read some hysterically funny ones recently. The most recent one was L.A. Woman by Cathy Yardley. My all-time fave so far is Jemima J by Jane Green (all of her books are a hoot though). |

I just couldn't buy that he loved her for HER but didn't realize it until after she had lost all of the weight. =) Confessions of a Shopaholic (both) were good too. I would dearly love to see a Bridget Jones 3 with her trying to adjust to living in Thailand or LA or wherever she goes with Mark. I'm still holding out hope for that. |
