Black Gold oil?

what is this stuff? Every day I am astonished at the number of bottles of it that I see behind the counter being stored for customers. It looks to be a cheap product and I've never seen it mentioned here...

Its been around for years, it not as effective as many other lotions.
I didn't find it to work well.
Oily and messy to apply.
