Rage Oil is an OK product. It was recently discontinued but I would guess that you would still be able to find a few bottles from a local salon that carries Cal Tan. If they don't have any left, I'd bet their distributor would. Ask the salon owner to order a few for you (since these have been discontinued you may want to stock up on a few before they are all gone). These are relatively inexpensive.
In general oils tend to help speed up the tanning process because they increase the translucency of your skin allowing the UV light to penetrate faster and easier. There are some drawbacks to using an oil. An oil based product will seal the skin. This means that if your skin is dry it will "seal in" the dryness. If possible try to find a DRY oil spray. These are wonderful and don't leave the "oily" feeling on the skin. These are great for the beach. Without the oily residue on the skin, the attraction of sand is minimal. There are a couple that I know of: Cal Tan's Melted Butter and HP2000's Super Dry Body Oil. These are available at most salons or they may be able to order these for you. I like both of these products, but the Melted Butter is definitely the better of the two for skin care. -Tommie-[ This Message was edited by: Tommie on 2002-05-21 11:28 ] |
