Someone on the other tanning message board said that oils in a tanning bed or booth would give you the best tan because the oil acts like a magnifying glass...
I used AG's exotic oil today in my tanning bed, and it really worked well. I got so much darker. I might start doing this more often, but I still love using caltans lotions the best! I know that oils are bad for the acrylics, so i wiped them down immediately after tanning. try it sometime, and see what oild will do for you... ~meltdbutta~ |

For years, I have recommended that tanners use oils to get their darkest tan. Apply a non-tingling/non-bronzing Plateau Buster (TM) like Ultimate Results (TM) before you leave the house in the morning. Then at the salon apply an overcoat of a true oil-tanning product (like AG eotic Oil/ CY Tropical Rage Oil). This way you get the maximum moisturization and skin-conditioning
ingredients matched with the maximum magnification properties of the oil product. This year Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) has released the first Oil-Based Tanning Lotion, or Hybrid Tanning Product, ever in the indoor tanning industry. This new super revolutionary formula combines the benefits of a oisturizing tanning lotion and the super magnification properties of a tanning oil, utilizing the skin conditioning properties of both and also providing easy clean up for tanning salon owners. “The best of both worlds!” On May 1st, this product will have a brand new orange fragrance! I would be happy to send any salon owner a sample. |
