at my favorite store in the world.... Target.
I forget the retail, like $7 or something... The bottle was brown and boring and mixed in with the rest of the outdoor stuff. I did notice that it said "tanning bed approved" right on the front of the bottle which amused me. It's out there now.... be prepared to see it in your customers' hands. |

No... Max used to work with Banana Boat. Different animals entirely.
I've already seen it in my salon. I tell my tanners "If you want an 8 dollar tan, you're using the right stuff. Let me know when you're ready for serious tanning." |

Max posted a thread about this subject in a forum recently..
He worked on the developement of Bannana Boat.. It IS NOT related to California Tan as Bronze pointed out. The two are not related. Even though it says Tanning Bed Approved.. It is NOT approved by me for use in my machines. I pay a good deal for my machines..and I will not have unauthorized products being used. MJ.. trying to fight this advertising..is not one I'm gonna get into.. but if you are willing..Go For It.. I admire you for the thought..and if you take action..God be with you.. The bottom line is this.. It can say whatever it wants on the front of that bottle.. It's not allowed in our units. And I'm sticking to it.. |

what makes these lotions unsuitable for our units? I have that question alot and am not real sure how to answer. I know it clouds the acrylic and i have noticed that they tend to feel pitted (for lack of better word).

I saw this product in walmart yesterday in NY..I would like to note that I am up visiting my family and that I ahve not noticed this or any other products in the walmart of target that I sometimes shop at in NC..There were atleast five different products and one even had a pair of goggles included free with it.. Now I may be new to tanning, but even I know when something is full of crap!! How could anyone purchase and use it on a regular basis.. Just my two cents worth..
