I think it is really sad that the people at this site seem to think it is ok for a MODERATOR to imply that someone smells and needs to lose weight. And then people tell the person INSULTED that they need to lighten up. I mean COME ON PEOPLE, that was rude. How would you all feel if people insulted you like that. Or your kids, friends, family members, etc......

Fungirls and tamar really need to GROW UP. And anya, god for you for standing up for yourself. It is just too bad these jokers seem to think things like this are OK. Just remember- you are a better person them them :>

Oh and for the record- my DST smelled like burnt bacon too . And I am in no way even slightly overweight, and I dont smell. I think it is just a stinky lotion

The name Matahari means "eye of the day" or "sun".. It was also inspired by the famous W.W.I female spy who got information from the other side by charming the enemy..

The wonderful thing about this product line is that offers a 3 step system for tanners.
Level 1( with Melabronze) to create a golden brown..Level 2(Pro-Vitasun Complex) to enhance and deepen your color and then the finalizer (that has a bit of a firming action). Also a product just for the face and throat!!! ( you gotta try it...)
When you use these products on a regular basis..your skin looks and feels smooth, silky and maintained.

You may not be in Love with the scent..but you must agree the skinsational results are great! .............

Im guessing this Melabronze and Pro-Vitasun Complex is comparabele to the infamous VitaTan2000 and Cu02???

Do u have an idea on which ones work better, or r thay the same, with different names?

i really didn't see that much of a color change using the sexy tan or dark sexy tan. i see more color from ambrosia dark deluxe than anything else i have used lately.

The wonderful thing about the entire lines of California Tan is that all 3 lines offer a variety of products for virtualy every type of persons skin.
California Tans commitment to understanding the positive and negitive effects of ultra-violet light exposure to our skin began in I believe in 1987.

Each year they have added new and improved formulations and organized educational programs for tanning professionals.

Meltabutta: I am not quite sure what exactly the (secret to Vitatan or Pro-Vitasun) is,I do know though that Dr. Debra Pierce the Chemist for Caltan is brilliant and has developed these wonderful products with everyone in mind. Melabronze takes about 3 hours for the color to reach it's full level.. so don't shower before it's had time to do it's thing. . ( Remember wash your hands after appling a bronzing lotion).I'm sure they can answer your ingrediant questions call 1-800-SUNCARE, they are all smart there..

Angela.. I find Ambrosia and Dark Delux Ambroisa two of THE MOST SUPURB product concepts on the market today.
About 5 years ago we began teaching our clients to layer their products for maximum results. (Apply your gel base product, then layer it with your creme') we saw them able to zoom up a level or two in color in just a couple of sessions by doing this...but it was a hassel..layering took time..
When Ambrosia came out a year ago..everyone went crazy..WOW here it was.. a product we craved!!and easy application. (remember certain properties will only work in a creme form,while others will only work in a gel). Now we had it available, cost effective and results galoure!!
This season California Tan brought us the Big Sister Dark Delux..Dark Delux has more moisture that advanced tanners need to maintain the ability to get "color".
(notice the difference in the swirls between the two levels).
Dark Delux also has Cuo2..and TRF2000.( don't know Meltabutta what they are all about.. I just know they work! )
The results are out of this world.

No matter what your skin type,no matter what level tanner you are,no matter what your age is, California Tan has a product made just for you..
I suggest you sample ALL of their products and begin to compare them to others, I'm sure you'll find your favroites........and ones you love to love....

i have used just about every product that my salon sells. i am a huge lotion freak. in my tanning bag i have beach bum rum volcanic pure chocolate and ambrosia (step 1) and i just ran out of ambrosia dark deluxe. i probably wouldn't buy any of those lotions again but ambrosia DD. that is the one product i truely believe in, because i have seen terrific resluts.
