no it's not a bad bottle or samples cus everytime i have smelled it, it STANKS. i couldn't stand patchuli oil when it was "cool" to wear it i personally think it smells like unwashed bodies (dirty hippies that don't bathe) i've hung around enough deadheads to know what that smells like.

I also love this stuff!! The scent is beautiful and I hate bacon. It bears no resemblence to bacon whatsoever. It is a great moisturizer and gives dark results. My only problem is that I find a bottle of Matahari lotion only lasts me about 4 tans because they are so small. (I have dry skin so it really absorbed and I thoroughly apply to legs, bum, back, stomach, shoulders, chest.)

no i have to say i don't stink. but that lotion DOES stink.I have asked people who have tried it at the salon even the girls that work there say it SMELLS and not in a good way. i thought saying bacon would be better than saying dirty nasty hippies that i used to see/smell at grateful dead shows. cus that's what patchuli smells like since deadheads would wear the scent to try and MASK their unwashed body odor. i mean hey i guess it's whatever u like but i for one don't like smelling like a dirty hippie.

In the study of Dianetics, this could be an engram. The Matahari scent REMINDS you of something else, therefore you BELIEVE it smells like unbathed hippies. Funny what our minds can do to us.

DST definitely STINKS, as in smell. I don't know what they were thinking when they were forumulating that scent but it is BAAAAAAD. While I wouldn't go so far as to call it "bacon-scented", I absolutely agree that it smells horrible.

I will use my tube until it runs out (because I do think it is a good product) but I doubt I will buy it again because I don't enjoy stinking like Patchouli or whatever it is that it smells like.

as to another reply to the rude post last night i have to say that i thought this subject was for PERSONAL opinion. For someone to be childish and call me names for MY opinion let alone a MODERATOR of this site says a lot. I will not take part in childish acts and call names. I am a nanny the kids i watch act more adult than that. I like to think that my teaching them respect for others and their opinions has helped with that. I guess not everyone can have an influence like that in their lives, it's too bad maybe the world might be a better place.
