Or cool, depends on your point of view. I like to use a bronzer occasionally because I have fair skin. I'm never going to get a deep, dark tan I have used several lotions w/bronzers and never once had a streak or turned orange. Now, this said, I have clients who are a lot darker than me use lotions w/bronzers who DO streak &/or turn orange. Why? I can't figure this one out! Has anyone else had this problem?

Kathi,
I have Indian (Native) in my blood line so I am dark to begin with, but my point is that I too have used bronzers that have streaked me. I guess I just didn't rub them in very well. Actually, Soakin' up the Rays PL 200x- w/ bronzer streaked me the first time I used it so the next time I paid close attention to the way I applied it and it was fine then.

Streaking and orange discolorization is cause when tanners use a bronzer that creates too much of a color shift from their current skin tone and the resulting tone from the bronzer.

The streaks/orangeness are becuase of uneven application, the larger the color shift attempted the more chance the uneven application will be noticeable.

I personally believe that you will get naturally darker using a premium product without bronzing or tingling.

Bronzing doesnt help you tan but tingling certainly does.

Frankly I would make sure that what ever you use contains Tyrosine, the accelerating agent.

Hey Greg, Whats your feeling about Mink Oil. I noticed that Most products are still using it.
