Rep Power: 7 cutiepup is on a distinguished road
Tamar, I've been thinking about starting something like this but I question how much of a discount do you give? What if someone comes in with a bottle that is almost empty do you give everyone the same discount? I want to get something together but I'm curious about clients taking advantage of the discount too. Any feedback?

Thanks Cutiepup

You'll have to use your discretion on this, but start at 5 bucks, they only paid ten! Depends on how much of a markup you are working with and how badly you want to get rid of the crap on your beds. Think of it as preventive maintenance. Even if 5 is uncomfortable for you, it is still worth it in the long run to get them to buy from you from that point on. Start them on a low-range base builder and work them up later.

I believe CalTan says mineral oil does not damage acrylics.

I understand it is an effective moisture barrier to lock in moisture and is effective in magnifying the uv rays.
That it is a myth that it damages acrylics.

Mineral Oil does ruin the arcylic. I have an old shield in the salon for people to see. The shield has an almost perfect outline of a body from a person that used baby oil in one of our beds.
