LOL @ Bronze Star...I bet the pic looks great...I think the same about any of my pics...I HATE them! We have View Keepers in our salon. We are about to change our policy about eyewear. Customer must purchase their own eyewear and show proof of eyewear each time they come into tan!

SBeth,We have required from day 1 that everyone have their own eyewear, we never lend or rent it. We only sell it. Not only is it a good money maker, but that way also ensures that sanitation issue is no longer an issue. We also have clients sign a clipboard everytime they tan that states something like: By signing below I understand that I must wear FDA compliant eyewear EVERYTIME I tan here...blah blah blah. You get the idea.

Bober96, Bunntanner, SBeth, Bronze Star and all Tan Talk salons,Please give us a call and we will be happy to send you free salon signs for your tanning rooms that promote eye protection, 2 free bedsigns for responding to this post and our counter mat that shows photos of eye damage you can share with "I-never-wear-eye-protection" customers. Bronze Star, how do you like the ViewKeepers in comparison to the Wink-Ease? I really like the deeper cone for longer eyelashes. And did you get your 5 free bedsigns yet? How are they working out? SBeth, you said you are switching to selling eyewear. A couple of cautions--customers will buy one pair of Wink-Ease and never use it and show it to you every time they walk in the door to get around your eyewear policy in the cheapest way possible! That's the client you need to show the counter mat to! Also, when clients buy their own goggles, their eyewear is not getting santized. It's in their purse, gym bag or glove compartment. The heat from the tanning bed is creating a lovely environment to breed bacteria. You may want to consider providing Wink-Ease and Viewkeepers at no cost so your client is using clean, easy, disposable eyewear with no risk of infections every time they tan. Or cleaning their goggles for them and providing a ziplock bag so their goggles are exposed to less contaminants. Feel free to call with questions! Bober...do you have any complaints from customers at all? And like Brenda said do you still offer goggle cleaning to your customers?Brenda...Thanks for your response! I have thought about the cleaning part of it and I am still going to have our solution ready for anyone who would like us to clean it for them. Also the ziplock bag is a good idea...or the container they come in.

SBeth,Thanks for calling! I think you'll really like all of our free educational materials to encourage your clients to wear eye protection. Remember that every goggle solution company recommends that their solution be changed AT LEAST once a day! It loses its strength if it sits around, even if it is not used much. And if you are cleaning lots of goggles in a mega-salon, you need to change it much more (or spread eye diseases to every tanner!). Remember to RINSE the goggles, the cleaning fluid is very strong and can damage the eye. And remember to dry them on a towel, open air, so that the water doesn't collect inside the eye cup and breed bacteria. OR just use clean, easy, disposable eye protection like Wink-Ease or Viewkeepers!BrendaThe Wink-Ease Woman

I LOVE the viewkeepers even more than the winkease because of the deeper cone for my lashes. I am sure that all of those peepers are soon to become worthless, because everyone is listening to me RAVE about the viewkeepers. I have given away most of my free samples with more ordered from the distributor.

I got my bed signs from Eye-Pro and the "Why-you-should-always-wear-eyewear" Counter mat. Wow, what an impact that will have. I showed it my manager while she was eating lunch. It also works well as an appetite depressant!!
