Exploding sample cups?

I had a customer come in yesterday with some left over caramel spice in a sample cup, saying it had "exploded". I wasn't there, but was told by an employee. Anyway, she showed her the sample cup and the bottom had "exploded". So she took a sample from my display, tapped on the bottom of another CS sample and the bottom kinda blew out! What's up with that? A sample of Zinger did it too. I had never ever heard of such a thing.So I started doing all the samples, ...nothing....weird eh??

That is really strange, I have never had that happen, even though I despise cups and lids, I often do them, but hmm go figure on that one

I have found the hot lotions eat the plastic of the cups, the bottom center indent seem the weakest and breaks out when pressure is applied.It a combo of physical and chemical stress.
