My tough spots to tan are my legs and arms. My stomach and back tan very easily. I have a skin type 2, italian dad and german mother, with subtle olive undertones, freckle lightly to moderately on my shoulder & arms-I freckle very lightly everywhere else- but very light complected. It seems that I have to tan 3-4 times a week for a whole month to start seeing good results. What tanning lotions would you suggest I try for tanning my arms and legs (I do not really like hot action products, but if I must, then I will). And what would you suggest for the rest of my body that tans easier. (Sorry if this may be confusing, I am looking for 2 lotions, one to use on my arms and legs, and the other to use on the rest of my body). All your help is appreciated. Thanks!

Bronzer, hmhm, I don't want to have to worry about it coming off on everything. I have been experimenting with Self-Tanners, but they do not look real and are to much maintenance. Please tell me more if you know of a product that has bronzer in it that might work!

My sister likes the JA Basics line strong for a nice price point. I personally liked the JA Solarium (no tingle) and saw my legs and especially my feet finally get nice color they are finally looking nice in sandals! YEAH!

another thing to consider is the circulation in you feet and legs. try using a tingle factor stronger on your legs and arms than the one you use on the torso.john abate' tingles are great. from the basic line to the higher end. use the 3+ tingls if you already have a good base tan

I agree. Dry skin will NOT tan. Make sure you use a moisturizer daily.Try JA Melaplus. I use it daily after I shower. Vitamins soak into my skin making it healthier than ever. For your legs and arms - I suggest using a very good, vitamin enriched tanning lotion to tan with in the tanning bed - Spectrum is great if you don't care for tingle. Here's the kicker - As soon as you get OUT of the tanning bed, use the Melaplus. You will be amazed how quickly your skin will soak up the lotion. Try this for the next 4-5 times you tan and let us know the results.I have always gotten great results from using it.You might also consider taking a daily Vitamin E supplement.
