speaking of your comment on darker skinned people, it amazes me that we don't have many many more African Americans visiting us in the winter....but they don't need a "tan" what they do need is SUN. this whole FDA thing is just another nail in the coffin....kind of ironic though, the thing that is going to spell our demise is the classification of our cancer causing, melanoma inducing, wrinkle exaggerating sun machine into MEDICAL devices. we should have been concentrating on the medical benefits all along instead of a Kardashian Tan....btw, the association withe the Kardashians and the Jersey shore crew has made our industry into a reality tv joke.
maybe it's no too late but I have 18 months until my 20 year anniversary and I simply hope to make it that far....my dream of selling my once proud booming biz is no longer a reality.....maybe some of you younger owners can make a positive change in direction that will pay off in a few years...however, as of now, our troubles are terminal

I was against using the Jersey Shore and Kardashian names to promote us since the beginning as well. I'm sure we could have thought of something different.

The problems arise and become worse as soon as we allow other interests to control or restrict what we say and how we say it. We are all responsible for where we are. We lack the proper approach and we are being picked apart because of it.

UV2021 gave the best defense of our industry that I've seen to date. The newscasters literally cut him off because of how well he was doing in defending us. He has a true passion for this industry and it's undeniable.

Likewise. It's not like we are losing money here either, it's just that growth in most businesses should be more linear when you compare year after year than what we've come to realize or expect now. It's like a yo-yo effect. Add to the fact that we never know what is going to come out from left field that makes strategic planning even harder to execute.

I'd say the juice is just not worth the squeeze at the moment.

Like everyone here, I just want what's fair. We're not asking for anything more and to be honest that's maybe part of the problem. We're asking when we should be DEMANDING.
