Just got back from the ITA board meeting. Lots of good stuff in the works and I will be posting more information on some of the projects by the end of the year.

The ITA is the ONLY organization that represents all aspects of the tanning industry.

Salons
Distributors
Manufactures
Allied Products
etc.

Many new members joining and realizing we must work together.

Many aspects dosent matter since we all drink from the same well.
Better representation is what we need not more diverse representation.

I think we need the same path that is killing us...commercials! Commercials illustrating the good, tanning brings upon us. If you can't beat em, join em. Fight back!

Sunrise I agree with you 100%. I also think the ITA will never do a single PSA for radio or TV or internet!

Actually if you read on news briefs and FDA meetings you'll find that the ITA is the representative for the tanning industry that has engaged the FDA. Your commercials are a terrific idea. Did you just want to say "Hey the sun is good, therefore you should tan" or did you want to maybe fund some research that can logically fight the smear campaign that Big Pharma is putting to us?

The ITA just had a meeting on Tuesday along with our FDA counsels at the office of OMB at the FDA. The ITA is very hard at work on the restricted device rule change.
