Rep Power: 0 | Looking to add Infrared Sauna to my spa Looking for feedback on a single person infrared sauna. They're much cheaper than a the slim capsule obviously! I love cedar and have looked at the units by Sunlighter for about $3500.00 with shipping in 3 weeks. Any thoughts? |

I have a nice cedar, two person unit which I am going to bring home and use it. Mine is the Sunlight sauna and I think I paid over $3000 for it 5 years ago. Nice unit. Rep Power: 0 | Re: Looking to add Infrared Sauna to my spa I purchased the Sunlighten Cedar 2 person in April of 2011, you're right....a lot of awe and not as much use as I thought! We may get 1-2 every two weeks. The other franchise location gets clients DAILY! I guess it's how you push and educate the customers. Quote:

When I bought my salon it had a sauna that is now getting more use in my basement than it ever got at the salon. Nobody wants to wait 1/2 hour for it to heat up, that's the main drawback - at home I watch TV while I wait. Meanwhile, the HVLP spray unit now in that room has made a TON more money. IMHO leave the saunas to the spas and add sunless if you haven't already. Far better return on investment. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Looking to add Infrared Sauna to my spa I have/had a far infrared sauna massage bed made in Korea. It was fantastic but the motor broke. The distributor went out of business and the manufacturer is trying to help me get a new motor to the US. We were doing great because we did a Groupon on it. Far infrared is a hot ticket these days. I have people also finding me through google. You just have to know how to reach people who don't tan. the massage part of it is what sells it and it doesn't take long to heat up - like 5 minutes. If I can't get it to work, I am going to resort to hydromassage and maybe a Far infrared sauna. We make people set appointments to use anything "spa-related." And yes, custom airbrushing is my main source of extra income besides tanning, but it doesn't make you money in the slow season like the far infrared does. |
