I don't know why media and people in general want to go crazy!

Does anyone know how many everyday things are carcinogens? Its not just smoking and tanning! Potted meats, radiation, PRESERVATIVES in almost every food that we all eat with the exception of fresh fruits and veggies, that are sprayed with bug killers that are also carcinogens. The suns UV rays are carcinogens. ANYTHING that breaks down a cell in the body is a possible carcinogen!

Unless you are growing your own organic garden, and processing your own meats, YOU are ingesting carcinogens.

I think it would help if everyone was clear on what cancer is;

Cancer is mitosis gone bad.

mitosis is where a cell multiplies.

mitosis gone bad is when a cell creates the cell that will replace it, something goes wrong and the new cell goes crazy and starts multiplying bad ones out of control.

when I say bad ones- i mean they don't do whatever it is that they are supost to do. Like if its in the liver- the cells says im just not going to filter anything and ill let their body go to crap. or a skin cell that doesn't hold its shape to be the body's first defence against pathogens, letting in bacteria and other harmful little un-noticable things that can kill us too! Or even if they do whatever they are supost to but don't have the control to stop reproducing itself, that is cancer.

the only reason that tanning is a carcinogen, is because when we burn, it breaks down our skin cells, letting their be a slight chance for mitosis to go bad. But mitosis is going to occur wheather we have any exposure to carcinogens or not. Mitosis is just forced to happen to replace the broken down damaged cells a little sooner.

if for instance we never burned but controlled our exposure to uv rays. we would and could still be cancer free. This is why the more pale a person is, the higher their risk for cancer. because they burn easier. =more broken down damaged cells needing to be replaced.

anyway enough ranting for me- time for someone else to rant!

I had my first EFT cancellation today where I was told that they were "joining the movement" not to tan. I calmly asked them to please research the benefits of UV, that our website was a good starting point with very balanced information. It was hard not to give out specific medical information, but I did explain I am prohibited by the law from doing so.

I am hoping they take my advise to heart.

^then why does my skin still look younger then it should? Did you miss the study that says if you never lose your tan your cells start to self repair and never do any further damage???

Ronaldo = brain washed by media. Also thinks man did not land on moon and Saccharin® is also cancerous.

Do a little, a little is all it takes, to find out the truth. WE dont need to tell you much, you can fid all the info easily. And if you want to really open your eyes look at what chemical sunscreens can do!

I am new here (waves to everybody), so forgive me if this topic has been discussed before, but I am not aware that you cannot tell people about medical studies and other documented information regarding the effects of Vitamin D on preventing cancer, osteoporosis etc. There cannot possibly be a law against that IS THERE????? Please tell me there isn't.
